Solar Fuel Generation

Call for Papers

New Content ItemSolar energy is the mostly promising renewable energy resource that has the potential to replace the fossil fuels.  Photovoltaics have been actively investigated as a prototype of converting solar energy to electrical energy.  Recently, approaches for converting solar energy to chemical energy, i.e. “Solar Fuel Generation” have attracted strong scientific/industrial interest, because it can facilitate shift to new energy paradigms like the hydrogen economy.  It also helps suppressing the global climate changes by converting the green-house gases to useful chemicals.  The current thematic issue will cover various aspects of the state-of-the-art studies on the solar fuel generation technology.
